Only 45 Boeing 747SPs were built and today only 1 airline still operated the type in commercial passenger service! Just Planes was very lucky to film the type with 4 airlines : Corsair, IranAir, South African Airways and Air Namibia. In fact the SP featured in this 2hour DVD was on lease from South African to Air Namibia.

The program follows ZS-SPC on its main route linking Windhoek with Frankfurt and London Heathrow. In addition we also join the aircraft for a roundtrip to Johannesburg.
